May 22, 2009----The temperatures are up, we're getting occasional rain, and the grass is growing! Number 5 green and number 6 fairway (which were the last to be sprigged) are growing in very well and should be very healthy for the grand opening in 6 weeks. Hole #4 fairway is struggling a little due to residual rye grass, but with our full efforts it will be ready to go by July 4th. The green for the short-game area is growing in well. We will start putting liners and sand in the bunkers in the next few weeks. Click on thumbnail image to view: |
