ONE MONTH TO GO!!!!!!

The grand opening party for our current members is scheduled for Saturday, July 4th.  We will have the opening ceremony at 8:30am and the first shotgun start at 9:00am and a second shotgun at 2:30pm.  This will be for property owners and their guests.  Each player will pay $20 and it will include green fees, carts fees, range balls, lunch, and a Vaaler Creek cap.   Space will be limited so please call the golf shop soon to sign up.

The grow-in on the front nine is going well.  The rain and warmer night-time temperatures has been very beneficial.  I uploaded a couple new pictures to the construction page.

We got our women's handicap course ratings back from the WTXGA.  You can now establish your handicap here at Vaaler Creek for $25 per year.  The women's ratings are:

White tees:  73.4 / 133

Red tees: 67.0 / 115

WEEKLY TOURNAMENTS

We are going to start hosting weekly 9-hole events. 

Thursday evenings--5:00pm shotgun start; 2-person teams; $25 per player; includes green fees, cart fees, and prizes; format will change on occasion but we will start out as a 2-person scramble.  The first event will be on April 9th.

Friday evenings Couples Event--5:00 pm shotgun start; man & woman teams; $30 per couple; includes green fees, cart fees, and prizes; format will change occasionally but we will start out as a scramble.  The first event will be on April 10th.

MONTHLY SCRAMBLE

Our monthly scramble is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th.  Hopefully, we can finally get some good weather!  This will be a 1:00pm shotgun start this month since the days are getting longer.  The entry fee will be $40 per person and it will include 18 holes of golf with cart, range balls, one drink ticket per player, prizes for the top three teams, prizes for closest-to-the-pin and long drive, and food after the round.  Mulligans will be available for purchase (each one comes with an additional drink ticket) and there will be on-course contests as well.  To sign up please reply to this email or contact the golf shop.  You can sign up a full team or as an individual and we'll pair you up.

Beer Sales

We now have our Beer & Wine retailer's permit up and running.  Therefore, outside beverages will no longer be able to be allowed on the golf course.
