  • Ted Schulz holds on to win first Champions Tour title
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (AP) -- Ted Schulz won the Homecare & Hospice First Tee Open on Sunday for his first Champions Tour title, holing a 12-foot birdie putt on the 17th hole at Pebble Beach en route to a 2-under 70 and a one-stroke victory over Tom Pernice Jr.

  • Notebook: Round 3, First Tee Open
Weather: Partly sunny with highs in the mid-60s and winds from the WNW at 5-10 mph.

  • The Starter, Round 4: Deutsche Bank Championship
The final round of the Deutsche Bank Championship is set to begin Monday. Here's a preview:

  • Pressure squarely on Day's young shoulders at TPC Boston
NORTON, Mass. -- In a little more than three months, Jason Day has had a chance to win three golf tournaments.

  • Stricker's bogey-free streak has him in position for another win
NORTON, Mass. -- It felt a little weird to bring up the streak. Was there some unwritten rule about it, like baseball has when a no-hitter's in progress? Were we supposed to stay as far away as possible from Steve Stricker for fear of jinxing his bogey-free streak? Did we need to stand at the other end of the ropes, give him plenty of space, act as if we were discussing restaurant choices for dinner?

  • Notebook: Round 3, Deutsche Bank Championship
Jason Day. Ranked 14th in the FedExCup standings.

  • What they said: Brandt Snedeker

  • Mickelson gets last laugh at the 15th, eyes No. 1 potential
NORTON, Mass. -- A year ago, Phil Mickelson struck an approach shot toward the 15th green that hit the flag stick and ricocheted off the green. So when Mickelson faced the same shot -- with the same pin placement -- in Sunday's third round of the Deutsche Bank Championship, he turned to caddie Jim "Bones" Mackay and said he was going to try to just miss the pin this time.
