Golf Lessons with

Adam was born and raised in Worland, Wyoming. He attended college at New Mexico State University to complete the Professional Golf Management degree program.

During his studies he worked at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ; Fenway Golf Club in White Plains, NY; Forest Akers Golf Courses in East Lansing, MI; and for the Michigan Section of the PGA.

After graduating from NMSU, Adam became the Head Professional at The Links at Sierra Blanca in Ruidoso, NM. He earned his Class-A PGA membership in March 2004.

Adam moved to Rocking J Ranch in July of 2006.

Golf Lessons
•  Lessons are available by appointment.
•  Adam has taught Juniors, Seniors, Men and Women from beginners to very advanced players.
•  Individual lessons are 45 minutes to one hour long
Lessons can cover anything from the short-game to the full swing, including the rules of golf and general information about the game

Single Lesson -- $60
4-Lesson Series -- $200
2-Hour Playing Lesson -- $125
Group Lesson -- $75 per hour plus $20 per additional student

Mark Henderson, PGA

Mark, a native Texan, grew up in El Campo.  He began his golf career at The Hills of Lakeway and became a PGA Professional in 1984.  "Hendo" moved to Arizona in 1989 and called Flagstaff home for 16 years.  While in Arizona he taught golf at top-ranked Forest Highlands during the summer months for 13 years and was an instructor for the John Jacobs Golf Schools during the winter months.  He also spent a few winters as a teaching professional at highly ranked golf clubs like Estancia in Scottsdale and Oak Creek Canyon Golf Club in Sedona.

Mark moved back to Texas in 2005 and was the teaching professional at Lakecliff Country Club in Spicewood before joining the crew here at Vaaler Creek Golf Club.  Mark and his wife, Kathleen, still live in their home in Spicewood. 

Mark has brought a wealth of teaching experience to Vaaler Creek.  He will be available for private lessons and he is also conducting free golf clinics for our members and their guests on the weekends.
